Congratulations to our P4 pupils who made their First Holy Communion and received the Sacrament of the Eucharist on Saturday 18th May.
The boys and girls displayed admirable reverence and attention throughout the ceremony and deserve the highest of praise. They were terrific with their readings, prayers and responses. They were a credit to themselves, their families and Lissan PS.
Thank you to our P4 class teacher Mrs Coyle and our classroom assistant, Siobhan for preparing the children so well.
Sincere thanks to Monsignor Curry for officiating and making the ceremony so personal for the children. It was such a special and meaningful service.
A special thank you also to the school choir and Kate Browne for the beautiful music. 🎶
As a school community we are very proud of the children and we hope that they had a lovely weekend with their families, making many special memories.
