Some children like to build tall towers, with careful intent, filled with concentration. Some children like to quickly build, so they can knock them down, again and again & some children enjoy both! ⭐️
They are developing whole-body physicality and spatial awareness, thinking critically and creatively about how to move and build structures that reflect unity and connectedness to balance or make their ideas tangible.
We are becoming acutely conscious of how block play is an amazing catalyst for holistic development, lifelong creativity, and mathematical learning.
