This year marks the 150th anniversary of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh. Part of the celebrations taking place is the visit of the first-class relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis.
Blessed Carlo died in 2006, at only 15 years old, after a battle with leukaemia. His short life made a huge impact, and he was beatified by Pope Francis in Assisi in 2020.
The children in P4, P5 and P7 attended Mass on Monday 12th June in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh, and were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to view the relic.
A truly memorable day for our children.
Blessed Carlo reminds us that even the most ordinary life can become a means to Heaven, if we seek God’s presence in the midst of it.
