Our P6/7 class participated in an inspiring BBC Anti-Bullying Week Live Lesson. The boys and girls explored the true meaning of respect and discussed how disrespectful behaviour affects us all.
They also learned valuable skills on how to respectfully disagree when our opinions differ. The session provided top tips on handling conflict, whether directly involved or acting as mediators.
Additionally, pupils worked on individual parts of a jigsaw puzzle with each piece describing themselves. Even though every piece was different, they fitted together.
We also worked on building a wall of kindness. Each pupil filled in a brick in the wall with words and phrases to spread happiness and joy within our community. We built a wall of kindness and friendship to keep bullying and unkindness out.
