In perfect time for your spring clean, we are participating in a clothes recycling programme called Cash for Clobber in conjunction with Cooksown Textile Recyclers.
The Eco-Warriors are asking for all used and unwanted clothes in bags, to be left into the school by Friday 4th February. These quality reusable items are exported to developing countries, including sub-Saharan Africa and Pakistan. It is also a great way to raise money for our school as we recieve money linked directly to the weight of clothes we collect.
As well as clothes, we can also accept shoes (pairs only), handbags and belts. Duvets and pillows cannot be reused for hygiene reasons.
