In preparation for 'European Week of Waste Reduction' next week Karen Brown, from Mid Ulster Council, delivered a School Battery Collection Box and Compost Bin and Caddys to our school today.
As part of the 'European Week of Waste Reduction' Mid Ulster Council is asking that we save batteries from going to landfill.
Pupils can bring in old batteries for our School Battery Collection Box. If the box is filled during the week we will be rewarded with an Energizer rechargeable battery pack to help reduce battery usage in school. We will also be entered into a draw to win THREE 2 in 1 Eco Depo recycling bins for use inside our school.
