Please check your child's hair thoroughly as there has been an outbreak of head lice in the school. Please note the importance of disinfecting hats, coats, hair bobbles and brushes. Treatments can be purchased from supermarkets or are free via the Minor Ailments Service direct from your local pharmacy. Please inform the school if your child has head lice. Wearing a bundana headband can prevent the spread of lice to siblings/ pupils and staff. If your child has head lice it is important that coats and hats are kept in a plastic bag, as lice can spread easily along pupils belongings in a cloakroom.
