- On Thursday 23rd March, we visited Killymoon Castle in Cookstown as part of our recent World Around Project on "Castles."
- Dorothy was our tour guide & took us all around the castle- literally from the top bedrooms to the cellars down below.
- It was a fascinating insight into what a real castle looks like inside and outside.
- The castle is always in use for wedding photo opportunities, afternoon teas, tours and a recently opened tea room.
- Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this trip and learned lots about how a castle is built, how it is run and the type of lifestyle that comes with living in such a grand building.
