Yvonne Zellman (Sustainability Officer) from Mid Ulster Council demonstrated the various ways the children could plant and sow seeds.
*Primary One/Two class planted strawberry plants.
*Primary Two/Three planted potatoes and peas.
*Primary Four/Five made pots from newspaper and sowed vegetable seeds into them.
*Primary Five/Six sowed vegetable seeds into seed trays.
*Primary Seven sowed vegetable seeds directly into the raised bed and used plastic bottles (cut in half) to make mini cloches.
