As part of our Eco Schools Action Plan for this school year we chose to look at the ENERGY topic. Pauline from Renewable Energy has been giving a series of talks to Primary Five, Six and Seven children. They have been looking at all types of renewable energy sources.
They then looked at where wind turbines are made, how they are constructed and the benefits of receiving energy from this source.
The children were all provided with 'Tommy the Turbine' resources packs.
