On Thursday P7 welcomed Baby Ollie to their class for the first Roots of Empathy lesson. Roots of Empathy is an award-winning programme delivered around the globe. For twenty-five years, over 1,000,000 children have been learning to respect and care for one another with the themes introduced through their Roots of Empathy baby. Roots of Empathy is a tried, tested and evidence-based programme that increases children's kindness, caring, including, sharing and helping behaviours as they develop empathy, and we are delighted to be able to deliver the programme in school.
