Baby Dearbhla and her mummmy Fiona visited Primary 5/6 for their 5th Roots of Empathy session.
This visit was based on the theme of ‘Sleeping’. The children had lots of interesting discussions about types of sleep, transitional objects and adaptability. They had plenty of questions to ask Fiona about baby Dearbhla’s sleep.
They also weighed and measured baby Dearbhla and the children were shocked at how much she has grown! The boys and girls are also noticing more and more changes every time Dearbhla visits. 💚
Roots Of Empathy is a wonderful programme led by Maeve, that links with our nurturing ethos in school. It is a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience the benefits associated with the programme. ROE reduces aggression, increases sharing, caring and inclusion, and promotes resilience, well being and positive mental health. Their vision is to change the world, child by child. 👶❤️
