ππΏSt. Brigid's DayππΏ
1st Feb 2024
We had a busy day yesterday preparing for St. Brigid’s Day. ππΌ
Some of our pupils took part in the Irish tradition of making crosses using rushes.
These crosses are hung by doors and are believed to protect houses from fire and evil.
A massive thank you to those who took time out of their day to come in and help the children make their St. Brigid’s crosses.
The children loved it and the help was very much appreciated. π₯°
St. Brigid's cross symbolises the beginning of Spring. πββοΈ
