We had a busy day yesterday preparing for St. Brigid’s Day. 🙏🏼 The children listened to stories about St. Brigid and took part in the Irish tradition of making crosses using rushes.
Thank you to those who took time out of their day to come in and help the children make their St. Brigid’s crosses. The children loved it and the help and guidance was very much appreciated. 🥰
Our sincere thanks to Monsignor Curry also, who took the time during our prayer service, led brilliantly by P4, to bless our crosses.
May Brigid bless the house wherein we dwell. Bless every fireside, every wall and door. Bless every heart that beats beneath its roof. Bless every hand that toils to bring its joy.
