As we approach winter and the end of this challenging year, we would like to let you know that our Annual Appeal, beginning 18th November, will be very different than that of previous years. This year's campaign is called "Impossible Choices" and significantly there will be NO Toy Appeal. Due to covid-19 restrictions, accepting and distributing toys safely to families in time for Christmas will be very difficult, if not impossible.
Impossible Choices are the real struggles that our families face, whether to heat the house, have food on the table or presents under the tree. Our campaign is to alleviate these choices by ensuring that everyone is safe and warm, enough food and the ability to enjoy a little bit of magic at this time of year. There is no necessity for drives within our schools, communities or businesses to provide toys this year. Anyone wishing to help can donate money, vouchers/gift cards or items of food for our food bank. Food can be left in our trolley in Tesco, Asda and Quinns, Chapel Street Cookstown, where you see our signs.
