The P5/6 pupils travelled back in time to meet Freya Svensdottre, a woman who travels the length and breadth of Ireland trading her goods.
Freya told us about life in her settlement, stories of brave warriors and of how her people came to be in this land. We learned the secrets of battle, how to make a shield wall, and what she carries to trade – but we had to be careful as Freya is always looking for slaves to take with her...
