World Book Day at Lissan Primary School 2020

  • Our Principal, Mrs McIntyre led us into World Book Day with an assembly, where we watched a short clip from Poet Laureate Lauren Child, who gave us great advice about the importance and value of reading.
  • This year, our pupils dressed up as famous characters from books and also took part in a sponsored readathon to raise funds for new Literacy resources.
  • Well done to everyone for their fundraising efforts. (Forms to be completed for next Friday please.)
  • We hope you all enjoy spending your £1 book tokens & thanks to everyone for all your efforts in making this an enjoyable experience.
